I had found on a map a road in Salem that looked like it went into the mountains called Loafer Canyon Road. We went for a drive to check it out. It turned out to quickly end at someone’s large gated property. Here are some pictures of what we saw anyway. You will notice a grocery store called Crisp’s. There are several members of my family that will NEVER shop at a store called Crisp’s. This is because they have a problem with the word Crispy or any of it’s derivatives. If you don’t know why, go and whisper the word Crispy in someone’s ear and see how they like it.
