As I’m trying to fix the feed to my blog, this is a test post that I won’t feel like I have to delete if I put a picture in it.

"We fill the hands and nurseries of our children with all manner of dolls, drums, and horses, withdrawing their eyes from the plain face and sufficing object of nature, the sun and moon, the animals, the water and stones which should be their toys." -Ralph Waldo Emerson, from "The Poet"

About Us
I am from Eastern Idaho and Colin is from Eastern Washington. We met at BYU and were married in 2006. I graduated with a B.S. in Dietetics and Colin a B.S. and M.S. in Civil Engineering. Colin works as a geotechnical engineer for Parsons Brinkerhoff. I work full time as Jackson and Annie's mom. Any given Saturday, you are sure to find us on a hike or drive exploring the beautiful state of Utah.
