Yellow August

DSC_0612Instead of saying everything has turned brown, I’m going to be slightly more positive sounding and say everything has turned yellow. We went for a nice little hike along the Bonneville shoreline trail above north Orem with Colin (2000 north, same trail head as Dry Canyon). It’s another really good trail for toddlers to hike on – flat, fun and safe.

Wimpy fossils – there is lots and lots of limestone in all the places I hike. I learned long ago to stop looking for fossils because for some reason there aren’t any. I did find some wimpy little ones in this rock today, hardly a keeper.
