We are spending this Christmas in Walla Walla, Washington with Colin’s family. We spent Christmas Eve at GG’s, where we had the traditional yummy Christmas soup. Jackson played with his cousins (once removed), ran around causing trouble, and having a good time. Afterwards, we went for a walk in the cemetery near Colin’s house. We heard an owl hooting so we found the tree he was in a flushed him out.
Christmas morning Jackson somehow knew to wake up early. He figured out about opening presents pretty quickly. Oh the joy of new toys!!
We went to Aunt Shirley’s house for breakfast (the best breakfast EVER) where Jackson played with his cousins again but spent most of his time chasing Dolly the little dog around. Dolly helped Jackson get over his fear of Boots, Colin’s much larger dog. For Christmas Dinner, the Cummins’ side of the family came over. There was a lot of interesting family history talk. Jackson recognized he was getting a lot of attention and was happy to show off.
