I missed Natalie’s 6 and 7 month posts and all of the sudden she is 8 months old. Here is what is happening right now for Natalie:
- Eye color has landed on blue gray color (probably from Daddy), hair is coming in nicely now and is the same color as Jackson and Annie’s at that age.
- Two teeth and lots of drool.
- 12 month clothes starting to get too small, wearing mostly 18 month clothes.
- Gives lots of cheesy two-tooth grins.
- Doesn’t seem to have stranger fear.
- Will shake her head back and forth, wiggle, and kick her legs when excited or when we say “go crazy! go crazy!”
- LOVES bath time. I’ve never had a baby who loves the water so much and tries to crawl into other people’s baths.
- Sleep has been disrupted quite a bit in the last few months and hasn’t slept the entire night in some time (Teeth, change of temperature, sickness, becoming aware of separation from mom).
- Speedy crawler and always on the move. Lost any baby chub she had because of crawling so much.
- Pulls to standing on pretty much anything she can. Takes steps (cruises). Will likely walk earlier than my other kids.
- Finally started sitting completely unassisted. I think it’s a little funny she was crawling a good 1-2 months before she started sitting to play with toys. I think she was just always on the move and didn’t have much interest in sitting still.
- Puts everything in her mouth.
- Loves to eat crackers and noodles, but her favorite is baby freeze-dried yogurt melts.
- Very loud and talkative most of the time. Unusual to sit quietly playing.
