On Sunday, Natalie had what we call a baby blessing. She received her name and a blessing on her life. (Sort of like a infant christening but minus the baptism part.) We were thrilled to have so many family members that could come. Most importantly, Natalie’s great grandmother who she is named after (Jean) was able to come. Afterward, we had a brunch at our house for all our guests.
G.G. makes beautiful quilts that are pieces of art. She made a quilt for each of my kids. These quilts will be treasured.
