We discovered a lovely secret place this evening—Lake Mountain. We drove as far as we felt comfortable on the service road that goes to the top and then hiked the rest of the way up. The kids did great going up the steepest road I’ve ever seen. It was fun to Summit a mountain again (even if we cheated).
