I love summer. I hate winter. Every winter I vow to myself that I will not let one day go by that we don’t go play outside once it gets warm again. We’re pretty good at carpe-ing the diem, but just in case, Jackson and I made a to-do list for this summer. Not a bucket list, even though winter does feel like death sometimes.
We did the first item almost instantly after making it “run outside in the grass barefoot”. The next day we made boats and sailed them. Annie chased a poor duck around for the majority of the time. Can’t feel to bad for the creature—it could have just gone somewhere else at the pond. Surprised how well oatmeal boxes sail with just a little paper sail on them.
