There’s a canyon by Utah Lake that is sort of hidden. I doubt it’s really a secret, but I don’t know that it has a name. It’s beautiful, isolated, and has cool rocks. As soon as I found out that today was going to be in the 50’s, I thought of coming to this spot because of it’s warm low elevation. It didn’t disappoint.
Things to remember
-Smell of spring
-Cows and Annie saying “moo!” for a large portion of the hike
-Seeing a butterfly flutter above the snow
-Two golden eagles and a bald eagle
-Finding a nice brachiopod fossil
