G.G.’s Christmas Soup

I love traditions. They give so much more depth to holidays. Colin’s family has a tradition of going to his Grandma’s house on Christmas eve where she serves “Christmas soup”. It’s the same corn and tomato chowder every year served with oyster crackers. We weren’t able to be at G.G.’s house for Christmas, but we were able to remember her and bring back memories for Colin by cooking the soup for Christmas eve at our house. What a delicious tradition.
