Mount Whatchamacallit

Colin sneaked out of work early today so we decided to go for a little hike on such a beautiful day. We hiked to the top of, well, I don’t know what it’s actually called because people call it so many different things: steep mountain, south mountain, traverse mountains, point of the mountain. We weren’t by where the hang gliders go, but further east by suncrest ridge. We had a nice view of both Utah and Salt Lake valleys. It took us only 45 minutes to summit the whatchamacallit little peak, which you can see in the background of the first picture.

If you look really close at the above picture, you can see a dot ahead of Colin that is Annie—who ran up the mountain. She’s going to be some sort of endurance athlete someday.

The mystery pyramid at the top—we pretended it was a space ship that was going to take off so we had to hurry to the top before we got left behind on an alien planet.

Timpanogos—I like this picture because you can see our super secret camping spot (that we will never be able to go back to because we sold the jeep).
